How to save data on windows pc while browsing?

I am on a limited data plan and i need to know how to save data while browsing in pc, i read about opera browser with opera turbo on but this feature as i read was removed in 2019 and no longer works, is there any way to save data while browsing on windows
. download the "chrome" browser

.. open the desired page

... click the menu icon in the upper right corner

In the menu that appears, click on the down arrow icon at the top

the opened page will be downloaded and will be available without internet connection

.... you can find the page in the same menu by clicking on "Downloads"

What do you mean by "save data while browsing"? I don'r use Opera, but all other browsers "cache" everything on your PC, and that includes all the content of the web sites you visit, text, image, formatting and all, on your PC.

You're on limited data on a pc? You're being completely and absurdly scammed.

There is no way to save data, every time you go on a website you will download everything to display the content. The only thing you can do is turn off images/dont click on anything that you know will display images.

@saher090 Because you shouldnt use mobile data for your pc, what are you doing?

That's not how it works. You need to download the entire image, your browser can not compress any image before it is fully downloaded. It then saves the compressed image on your phone to save memory, not surf data.
