What's a fond memory of yours?

Aaah.... beautiful memory.

The first time I ever ate prawns.

I shit myself because the floorboards creaked while I was on the balcony upstairs. My ol' man looked up and I figured I was probably dead. 😅

But he called me down and told me to sit beside him. Told me I could watch tv for a bit before going back to bed. My mom and I were both surprised that he was being nice.

He saw I was watching the prawn bowl thing he had and asked if I wanted to try one. I did and then we shared the rest.

Pretty much my only good memory of my dad... and also one of my saddest. I mean, my childhood would have been pretty good if he was as kind and warm as he was that night.

That's a difficult one... A lot of memories are bitter sweet with emphasis on the bitter. Walking home from my gf the first time late on a summer night. The air has never been fresher and I reeked of perfume 😂
