Technology is creating a real creepy human society. I don't think Orwell and Huxley actually knew how creepy society would get. The society we exist in today is becoming so anti-human and evil, nothing surprises anybody anymore.
The level of depravity seems to reach a new low every single day. Many people either just ignore the dystopia, others are becoming numb to it. Only the people who are aware seem to be getting upset, maybe because we know what is at stake and we actually care about the future of young people.
