I Like to Share My Thoughts

Now onto my thoughts I want to share and what not.
So today I've decided to finish up a 3d project or rather, try to. My father requested a custom print from me last Father's day. It was a figure based on a cartoon he watched as a kid known as "Tobor the 8th man". Fun little show, just wish it had better upload quality on YouTube to view it but I digress. Now the only problem I've had thus far, well since it's such an old show, finding the right pictures and such to go off of to make my 2d renders for said figure have been hit or miss.
So today I'll start from scratch from what I have been able to find online. Also this is the first fully detailed 3d figure of a human like model I've had to work on so if anyone might have any tips or tricks for this kind of thing, I'd greatly appreciate to hear from you.
Anyway I've rambled enough, off to blender i go.
