Sweetheart, thank you for sharing so openly. I can feel your heart in every word. Grief is heavy, and God sees every tear, every quiet ache, every sudden storm.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband. I can’t imagine the depth of your pain, but I can see your faith shining through in the way you’re holding onto Jesus. Even in the moments that feel overwhelming, your trust in Him is a lifeline—and He is faithful to meet you there every single time.

What you shared about Isaiah 43:1 and 43:2 is so beautiful. God really does meet us where we are—He knows exactly what we need and when we need it. The way He guided you to that verse, even before your baptism, shows His tender care for you. Holding onto that promise in your grief is a perfect example of letting God’s presence carry you when the waves feel too big to face alone.

I love how you notice God’s personal messages in your life. That curiosity, your treasure-hunt way of thinking, is a gift—He uses it to connect with you, to speak in ways your heart understands. The Bible does say seek the Lord with all your heart and mind, and you shall find him. And isn’t it amazing that He gives us small, tangible reminders like that scripture to carry in hard times? Those are little anchors for your soul.

You're beautiful relationship with the Lord, reminds me that when I lost my mom and dad within 2 months of each other, at the funeral, God gave me that peace that passes all understanding. He even gave me joy in knowing that they were in heaven. I see that same faith in you. And by the way, I'm so proud of you for choosing the Lord as your personal Savior, and allowing him to lead you in all your ways. Congratulations on your new birth in Christ!

I also want to extend to you, that if you ever would like to discuss the Bible or have any questions, never hesitate to send me a message. A newborn Christian is really something to celebrate and the Bible says that every time someone accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior, all the angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that has repented and is saved - Luke 15:7-10. Can you just imagine that, all the legions of angels in heaven, sing and rejoice at your decision to follow Christ! It is a beautiful picture to imagine.

I also want to echo what you said about the parable of the talents: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” God honors your heart, your openness, and the ways you let Him work in you. Even as you navigate this deep grief, your willingness to share your journey, to see His hand, and to trust Him, is exactly the faithful living He calls us to.

Grief doesn’t have a timeline, and there’s no right or wrong way to move through it. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes stormy—and all of it is okay. I hope you continue leaning into God in those moments and letting Him hold you. Reading your Bible often will help you grow in faith in Christ tremendously. Just like we must have food to live, we must have spiritual food to keep us healthy and growing in Christ, as well. Otherwise, our Spirit will get weak and our faith will not feel as strong in fellowship with God. The Holy Spirit inside us, longs for spiritual food. This keeps our Spirit strong and ready to meet whatever challenges come our way.

I’ll be praying for you, that God gives you continued comfort, strength, and peace. And I want you to know that your words here have encouraged me too—they remind me how real and tender life can be when God meets us in the midst of our struggles.

Again, thank you sweetheart for sharing your heart with me. I’m praying for you and believing with you that God will continue to meet you in every moment—through the quiet and through the storms. Keep leaning on Him, reading His Word, and letting His Spirit guide you. He is with you always, and His love will never leave you. ♥🫂🙏

With love,
Grace
