Could be me, I wore corduroy shorts very similar to this lad when growing up.

I had a variety of corduroy shorts, blue ones, brown ones, green, grey etc. Ideal semi formal wear. I wore them right through my teenage years alongside my many other pairs of shorts. They were very comfortable to wear.
