I Can't Stand Bullies

Whether it is the school yard or the workplace or in politics I hate Bullies. It was so much easier to stick up for the weak and vulnerable when they were the victims of physical bullies. I would stand between them and the bully and say you have to go through me. They didn't. And believe me, I don't like fighting, I hate it. But some times you need to make a stand. I never fought for myself, only for others.

I joined the Army to protect my country and the weak from bullies and people who would do violence to defenseless.

But things have changed. Bullies use rules and political correctness to harass and intimidate people. They insult you for opinions that are different from them. They use rules of political correctness to suppress opinions other than there own. They hide behind walls of total non-violence and zero-tolerance to ruin peoples lives. Yet, when they feel threatened and intimidated they hide behind the very things they say they are opposed to.

Political correctness was originally designed to stop the weak and vulnerable for being bullied. Now it gives those same people the power to bully others.

I will Clarify a point I made previously. I said, I never fought for myself, not 100% accurate. I had moved colleges, and was at a new college for oh, 6 months. I was smart and large (from sports) but not one of the in crowd. I was systematically picked on and bullied and did not stand up for myself. Then one day the Alpha Bully came up to me while while lined up at the door to a class. I must have been having a bad day and was irritable. He threw a punch.........next thing he knows he is face down on the ground, my foot in his armpit and a painful wrist lock in place. I remember saying words to the effect "Just leave me alone!"

You could have heard a pin drop. The 'Bullies" realized that I could have taken any one of them at any time I wanted to.

After that, they wanted to be my best mates. No way. But violence, controlled and applied correctly is effective.

Oh, my sports were weight lifting and Judo
Well I wish I knew you when I was in school from elementary through high school. Bullies made my life hell. Was teased, abused, beat up, humiliated, forced to do sexual things. Good that you stand against bullies and the like.

Mate we were all bullied in some way. I was too. My mum had indoctrinated me into non-violence, As I said I didn't fight for myself, so they thought I was a Whimp. Not realizing that I could handle myself. But by putting myself between the bully and the target (I hate to use the word victim)I never had to fight. It spoiled their fun and off they went. Making lots of noise and making threats.
