I Am a Writer

In high School I found a way to begin my own acceptance of being the unsocial one in the crowd. It started when I found other girls sitting alone at lunch. Not even looking at other people. I could sense their pain and fears, not to mention awkwardness. I would walk over with my tray and and ask permission to sit with his one lovely yet lonely girl. The smile she gave me was incredible. We sat and talked while we ate and I discovered a great deal about her. Why did I choose this one girl? Why did I befriend her? Marion was shy and profoundly dedicated to her faith. Her choice in lie was to BE a NUN.And for a while we spoke on many things. I hope my thoughts, to chose her was a response she needed at the time.
