The brewing instructions on the box for this dandelion root tea said steep 12 minutes.

But I think it should have said steep for 12 [i]seconds[/i] because after having the teabag in for less than half a minute, it was already so dark that it practically looked like grape juice.

lol that wouldnt be for a cup of tea.. thats if you boil a bag in water.. like in a pan or kettle..

Probably need to steep it that long to extract the healthy chemicals in it.

Be cold after 12 minutes!
The passion tea I drink turns the water blood red almost instantly. I always let it steep longer than the 5ish? minutes it suggests.

I have a few boxes of tea in my cabinet but I'm at my sister's house and she has an entire wooden chest full of weird and exotic different kinds of tea. I often take one at random and give it a try.
