I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

If we expect the blessings of Allah, we should be good to His people.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished.”

“There are many doors to goodness. (Saying) ‘glory to Allah,’ ‘praise be to Allah,’ ‘there is no deity but Allah,’ enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf (until you understand them), leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one’s legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the weak with the strength of one’s arms – all of these are (forms of) charity prescribed for you.”

“Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well and that if they do wrong you will do wrong. But (instead) accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong if they do evil.”

“Shall I inform you about the people of Paradise? They comprise every obscure unimportant humble person, and if he takes Allah’s Oath that he will do that thing, Allah will fulfill his oath (by doing that). Shall I inform you about the people of the Fire? They comprise every cruel, violent, proud and conceited person.”
[Quran 25:63]:
“The (true) servants of (Allah) the Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, reply with (words of) peace.”
Yeah. That peace thing isn't really going too well though, is it?

@Ynotisay: To respond to the verse you provided, you could refer to my previous comment, as I provided several verses from the Quran to prove that killing innocent people is forbidden in Islam. Plus, this verse is clearly talking about specific event.

Anyways, I don't care what Hasan Mahmud says. He claims to be an expert of Sharia law, and he leads a movement against it. It's clearly that he has a hidden agenda. The list you mentioned is also false and it will be just a waste of time and energy to respond to each point of it.

Hasan Mahmud was your source of choice, because he fulfills your agenda. You didn't go for someone who would explain the Sharia law perfectly and would show its real form.

It's just so sad.

@Madeleine: What's sad baby is that you've been brainwashed in to believing nonsense written by men to exert control and power. Just like they have in EVERY religion.
It's sad that women cover themselves, let men determine their fates, limit their education and draw lines in to the sand that says you're with us or against us. It's sad that you need a group mentality to determine your own morality. And it's REALLY sad that the rest of us have to suffer for it.
I feel sorry for you. Maybe you'll wake up some day and realize you don't need any of what you're fed to be a good person and lead a rich life. But if not, don't think for one freaking second you have a leg to stand on about what is "sad."

@Ynotisay: If anything, modesty is moral, and it's required by both genders. I feel proud that I am a woman who values herself. Moreover, I cover my body, not my brain. I'm a university graduate - I'm more intelligent and educated than most men you will ever know.

We all need law to achieve justice. Everything around us is governed by law, even this website (it has its own rules). But people are willing to accept laws and rules put by other people, and do not accept the law that is put by their Maker.

If anything in this world defines nonsense, it's assuming that this universe has no Creator. Atheism is man made fairytale to deny the existence of God, thinking if they do that, they will find "freedom". But it's only an illusion.

well its not your fault for what other muslims do ,but its because you believe in such things,I dont care if people believe in religion or not but in my opinion religion is a lie and I refer to all of them.

because it is,look at how many bad things happen because of it,science is the only thing people should believe in
Madeleine · 41-45, F
@ItsDanny: I believe in Science, and I am a practicing Muslim. In fact, Islam and science go hand in hand.
SW-User
@Madeleine: It indeed largely does.
