i get home from a 4 mile walk in snow covered sidewalks and the side door to my apartment building won't open , won't read my magnetic pass card , didn't even beep , pissed me off but luckily my ground floor balcony is just around the corner and its missing part of the railing so i can just walk up onto my balcony and just open the sliding doors , i don't lock them just in case , and most people know i'm Poor so nobody wants my stuff anyway , lol so i don't have to worry about theft when i'm not home

A couple years before we retired we had to use one of those pass cards to get into our buildings where I worked. I hung my tag on a cord I wore around my neck and there were a few times it wouldn't open the door so I could leave. Figured out I had gotten too close to a stereo speaker in one of the lounges and the strong magnet inside of the speaker had temporarily demagnitized my card so the reader couldn't read it. Women who have purses with a strong magnetic clasp on them can have their debit and credit cards demagnetized if they get to close to that closure. Gotta be careful not to get near a magnet with your card.

My coffee pot isn't working right lately. Yesterday it took me 25 minutes to get it to make coffee. I was getting mad.

with mine the power won't work so i cut off the cord and fill it manually after heating water in the microwave , the worst was having to crush coffee beans in a plastic baggie and boil them in water in a pot , yeah well it was worth it in the end

nah its worked in way worse weather than this and they just put in a new door the other day too
