There seems to be no appropriate category in which to place this comment (and we can't create any new or relevant categories) so I will just put it here.
A while ago I saw a post that said SW had lost its "spark" and my response was to the effect that it never really had any significance to me. My comment was lost on the second page of one sentence comments so I decided to reproduce it as a new topic. Maybe it will generate some responses:

I'm not sure what the difference is, except that there were paragraphs and stories of confessions and experiences, from kids confused or excited about sexuality to women expressing outrage or crushed self over betrayal, to youth or adults experiencing the anguish of depression. What characterized these paragraphs (often) was their genuineness. Most of what I read here is superficial and not worth bothering with.
