I Have Had A Foley Catheter

Yeah it's like a condom catches the pee and takes it off to a bag like a catheter would. My partner is now telling me it's all about getting the right size and fitting it correctly, not too tight, so there is a small reservoir to catch the pee before it goes. Given the alternatives I'd definitely persevere with this.

My partner works in social care and she talks about the things she comes across and by far the best option she has spoken about (in my mind) for this situation is using a Conveen sheath. Would this be an option? The thought of catheters makes me shudder.

Yes! Not the best feeling! I mostly use diapers. But maybe if a professional like your partner helped me fit one properly it would make a difference!

I LOVE urinary catheters! Never having the feeling of needing to pee is so nice. Years ago, wore a catheter every day for 3+ years and it was so wonderful!

Fair enough. Shame though, think I'd also stick with diapers I once had something up my lad (for ahem, an unrelated matter) and it hurt.

Is this as a result of an accident or illness or something else?

Do you mean an external catheter? I have tried but since I am not circumcised it does seem to work well for me.
