I Have Something to Say

Ok so I just looked at the mail and hey presto another leaflet desperately seeking my vote to stay in Europe, and more lies and rubbish to try and convince us it's so good lol. As I said not so long ago when I asked how you know a politician is lying? Of course the answer is when the lips are moving.

Does import/export refer to goods? I thought the UK has a stronger service industry.

I think part of the narrative was that the financial industry would lose many customers, if the UK left. I am doubtful of that. What European alternatives are there to an established capital of finance?

I was referring to goods and yes your correct they talk about the financial industry however if like any report you can believe or statistics (as we know can always show which side is paying for them in a good way)all I have seen In terms of financial is that the European part of londons financial industry is 20 percent so I don't see them all running away overnight considering that the other 80 percent will be uneffected by us been in Europe or not.we have nothing to do with the euro so have no ties in that way.so I feel it's more a scare tactic than anything else.

I think it would be a good thing, but it may only happen for the more expensive properties.

US citizen here. I'd vote to leave. Be independent

What I'd like to see is more business owned back to people living in the uk rather than a number that are owned from countries in Europe and voting out maybe will discourage them and make them feel uneasy enough that they will leave
Sueisright · 31-35, F
Basically trying to tell us how poor we'll be,how it will restrict us travelling lol ,how many jobs well loose basic rubbish that there no proof either way till it happens though there's no reasons they talk of that seem common sense or plausible
Sueisright · 31-35, F
Deffinately will be doing that, and truthfully I don't know anyone voting for to stay in though the mega rich and a big number of politicians etc are getting rich from been in while all the rest of us just get ripped Off

If some people do move out physical or financially, it could lower real estate and the cost to let. I know housing is rather pricey and that some areas have high rates of foreign ownership.
Sueisright · 31-35, F
For instance on just one produce area I'd rather buy a fruit from a country where it naturally grows and tastes good than rubbish grown in greenhouses that's tasteless rubbish
Sueisright · 31-35, F
In terms goods export they talk on figures again of about 18 percent we export to Europe however they say Europe exports to us closer to 40 percent
Sueisright · 31-35, F
The way they talk and the rubbish they print it's like trying to scare people into believing that the world will end for us if we vote out lol
Sueisright · 31-35, F
To be truthfull I'm not sure about them though I don't see what reason they would be but I guess we'll soon find out lol
Sueisright · 31-35, F
Of course they will sadly covert some of the lame brains but let's hope they can't be bothered to get out of bed or just forget lol
Sueisright · 31-35, F
All the money paid at Calais for new fences over a thousand police every day there. Simple answer blow the damn tunnel up
Sueisright · 31-35, F
Hope so as I really hope we leave I'm sick of paying for things for others that we don't have ourselves
Sueisright · 31-35, F
We import far more than export to Europe so it's not in there interest to stop that to begin with
theblahs · 41-45, M
Much of London's population is foreign born. They often dont have the same sense of identity.
Sueisright · 31-35, F
It just amazes me the pure lies and rubbish they make up daily to try and convince us to stay in lol
Sueisright · 31-35, F
This is part true though what percentage of them qualifies to vote I don't know
GlassDog · 41-45, M
I haven't had my leaflet yet but I suspect it will do more harm than good.
theblahs · 41-45, M
Is the stay movement selling the idea mostly on economics?
theblahs · 41-45, M
I'd guess younger Londoners and Scotts are for staying.
Sueisright · 31-35, F
Could do but I don't see that as a bad thing
