I Have Something to Say

My stbx and I took our 22 month old grand nephew (Louie) to see the ducks at a nearby lake. There is a sidewalk that surrounds the lake. The sidewalk is about 1 foot above the water. Louie was walking in front of us and we kept telling him to stay away from the edge of the sidewalk, but he has a mind of his own and he got too close to the edge and slipped and fell into the water. He was completely submerged in the water and all I could think was get into the water and try and lift him up. It was hard because I couldn't get the footing I needed, but I just kept trying to lift him up and I finally got him up and handed him to my stbx. Scared the shit out of me.
