Who else has had a near death experience?

I remember being in E.R with a frantic team running around in a frenzy, I hovered above my body, feeling warm and comfy, wondering why all the fuss, they were yelling for blood, etc. I just wanted to be left alone. It was actually very pleasant and I didn't want to go back. Never did go "into the light" though. Guess I wasn't dead long enough. lol

You weren't dead enough. Lol. Seriously though, that is really cool. Too bad you had to go through all that to get that experience though. Yikes

@Coyotedave611: I've always felt that way too i.e. religion itself isn't the end all be all. I feel religion are just different pathways people choose to get to the same guy/gal/it/place and really it makes no difference how, just that love is the way.
@SarcasmQueen: So there you go...I think you are exactly on the right path and have summed it up perfectly. Just be at peace with others and forgive, my best friend on EP (Joseph84) died this past Oct. (a long terminal illness) Joseph wasn't a bit religious, but "spiritual" in the way he was. His family told me Joseph died with what appeared to be a smile on his face. So yes, I heartily agree with your response. Thanks for a well put response.

Interesting. You've glimpsed immortality.
You think? It did give me a better idea of "death" though, I cherish life of course but death doesn't seem quite so fearsome now.

Someone gave me CPR which helped keep me alive

Wow! What happened to you?
Internal bleeding that I thought would self resolve, passed out in my moms kitchen, woke up for seconds in the ER and passed out again, next thing, I was up above my body as a passive observer, not scary, just watched in detached amusement.

@Coyotedave611: Guess it self resolved in its own way! Lol. Seriously, glad you're ok. I have heard other people with similar experiences, and my ex swore I saved his life once by waking him up. He had sleep apnea and had quit breathing.
