Just want to say I'm happy we're apart and I knew we couldn't be happy right from the start

You chose to pursue me I fought it at first but then gave in and knew you were gonna boast

But I learned a lesson I'll never forget to think before I do anything that I may regret

You were the charmer I saw from the start I couldn't resist you and knew we would part

My mind got to thinking and it told me some things I had to be strong and handle this fling

You kept coming back time and again you showed me your hatred and heartless respect

I gave you my all I had and more you just kept on taking I showed you the door

I'm happy we parted I'm off of the shore like a bird in the air I'm going to soar

I've learned my lesson I'll never go back to a life full of sadness I forgot to laugh
