Helpp🙏

So i got asked on a date for Valentine's Day tomorrow and it's my first date ever. I really really don't want to go. I already said no to a date with him the last time as I was ill but he asked again and I couldn't say no. I like the guy I'm talking to a lot but I can't explain how cringey the concept of eating in a restaurant is to me. It makes my spine shiver. Not to mention I am SO nervous. How do I act? What do I say? Im scared I'm going to be an awkward mess. It's so cringey to me that you have to eat in front of them and try to impress them. I'm a weirdo lmao I guess im just asking how to get over my nerves and how to shake the cringey feeling I get when thinking about going?😊

Oh my dear, I'm 71 yrs old, and still feel that way, so don't feel bad. lol
What I do, is simply suggest we go for a nice drive to see the scenery, and stop for a Pepsi before we head out. It works! 😂 And [b]then,[/b] if you get hungry on the way, you can suggest stopping by a drive-through, and that way, you can eat facing ahead in the car, instead of people gawking at you. 😂

@Itsprincess: Well, I will eat opposite them, but still don't like it. Just go and enjoy yourself. That's what I've learned to do. If they don't like the way I eat, too bad. Ha. There's nothing one can do about it. They are as nervous as I am. You could order soup. lol

It's just a meal ! Something you'd have done anyway ! Only this time a guy is happy he's going to be sharing it with YOU !!!
Just look at it as a chance to do something different with somebody who could have asked anybody ! But he DIDN'T. He asked YOU !!!
Yes you'll be the centre of attention and BELIEVE me, HE'S JUST as NERVOUS as YOU are !!!!
