Im trying to help my friend who is suffering from depression.im trying my best to help her see the light.she tried killing herself a few times. I just wish she can see how pretty and special she is..that she is worth a lot.

Just let her know it's okay that she's not okay, that she is strong for being here and that you love and care for her. Sometimes, all we want to hear is that it's okay that we're not doing well. Sometimes, hearing how it'll get better gets old. Just let her know you're there for her. You're doing great just by talking with her. Also, don't make her think her depression is not important or less important because others in the world could be suffering more. Some people do that and don't realize how harmful that is. Just be there for her.

ive gone through several deep depression. its hard to get someone to see things because they have to see and feel it for them self. their mind will keep focusing on the bad and wont accept the good. all you can really do is be there for them try to brighten up their day. be supportive.
