Which would you choose, true love with a guarantee of a broken heart, or never loved at all? Why?

With death broken heart is guaranteed no matter how romantic one is, but majority of people still choose love, whether true or not, at least once during their lives. Most of them many, many times, unless I suppose we get into the meaning of "choice" in that. There's some argument that if you "choose" to fall in love, that's not love at all.

The only thing we own is our experiences. When it comes to love, the other person isn't ours. They can and usually do leave us. They can't take the experience with them, however. We keep that. And I would rather have that than to not have anything

it would depend on how long the love lasted for me. If it was incredibly short then it would not be worth it to me.
