i think ppl should be able to hire someone to take charge of your choices once a reltnsp dissolves.

they become a surrogate unjudging bestie, and occupy time your mate would have occupied to make a smoother transition to singledom rather than going from one life you knew to one you don't recognize....

for a period of time, their round the clock job would be to allow someone to vent, and steer them off the path of looking pathetic or empowering the former partner so when they see each other again someday, it's not as awkward.

people do some crazy shit when they become single. man i wish i could say i didn't know from experience

Amen! The struggle is real!! I just became single well a year ago now I guess but it seems like last month after 13 years in a relationship! Can u believe it??? So I totally get exactly what ur saying and it sound like a wonderful idea and I wish there was a service I could hire cause hell after 13 yrs I don't have friends anymore! However, the ex got a jump on things literally cause he had moved in with his gf after moving out of my house and they had a baby 10 months later and now I think marriage is on the table for them and I haven't even dated another person yet lol ..... sad right? 😜

ya, i can def relate to your heart ache-- my ex and i broke up 4 years ago. it was horrible and i acted so stupid i wish i had just done nothing. he's engaged now - when we broke up i suffered big time and i did things that seemed like a good idea that i now wish someone would have talked me out of.

plus i'm like you and all my friends at my age were married with kids and had no time for helping me cope. i was at a loss. if i could have paid for an autopilot i prob would have. maybe there's an app for that...lol

Ur an angel cause at least u regret what u did but I must say my ex deserves anything he gets or got. Heck he left me in a hospital bed cause he said he had to work and in all reality he was going on a date with his new gf with my bill money. Then he went to my house and took all the expensive things out and when I got back to my house it was all gone and I had to start from scratch cause he wanted to impress his new gf so she's watching my tv and sitting on my furniture and so on and so forth lol I swear some ppl. But I haven't really done anything bad other than call him and her names that's all.

@Squeekarose: oh i did some things he doesn't know like i took his toothbrush around the toilet bowl and put toilet water in his siracha sauce and put it back in his fridge .
