Yeah. Sort of along the same lines actually.
I saw a clip today of two young North Korean defectors being interviewed in South Korea about what's really going down in that country. It hurt to watch.
But what stood out to me is when the interviewer asked what is it about the citizens that would be surprising. This young girl, who had seen HORRIFIC shit, said that no matter the poverty and atrocities, the people are always laughing and smiling.
I'll be sending that clip to any friends if they start whining about some insignificant, first-world problem.
