Why do they suddenly disappear?

I find it both strange and intriguing as to how people who are chatting so normally one day so normally just vanish the next and do not reappear at all?

Because it happens quite often here in SW,I am now very guarded to start a conversation of my own or answer any PM's.I have simply lost interest.

It takes a very short time to adapt to this chatting and before you know it, it's normal to do it all the time
