Is it true... "some things are better left unsaid?"

Yes
just like
Some strings are better left undone
Some hearts are better left unbroken
Some lives are better left untouched
Some lies are better off believed
Some words are better left unspoken
...
That's a wonderful song. 😊
@bijouxbroussard: Certainly, dear Lady. 👭

Rude/nasty things and unnecessary things (strong forceful opinions that don't help anyone) are better left unsaid.
Some feelings are better being said though rather than unsaid.

If people already know your view, then yes i think so.
But relationships are difficult. Whoever they're between !
And it IS a fact that some folk are very domineering in their relationships.
You 'accommodate'their (basically, rudeness !)because it's EASIER than having to confront such a person, and dealing with the stuff they throw at you as a result !
For those people ? SAY IT !

Interesting topic. Depend. Is it better for me or for the other person? Is it better in general for both parties if we say it? It would be better to live in a place where we all were ready to accept the truth?
Sorry, lol! I wasn't of much help.

Yeah, that's a good point. The thing is... it's not always easy to determine if you are saying something based on the mood of the moment or taking into account the implications of the future. I guess for me, I write most of what I want to "really" say in a journal and then conveniently fall-back on my "shyness condition" to limit the risk and exposure. Of course, as we all know, that's not really a grown-up way to be...
