aah :) well thats true. but i'm also not fond of the recent comic books because they are trying to feed a narrative.
for the fimls i think i never watched a DC movie actually but from the little bits i have seen they don't seem like much fun i think they are trying to hard to follow marvel in their cinematic universe instead of making an actual good movie.
but i think they are only focusing on the big 3 and not on any other characters. i mean i would love to see characters like zatanna or swamp thing or john constantine and more obscure characters to the public who don't know much of comic books.
but the netflix series seems to been doing alright right?

yes thats true. yeah they want to set up an entire story that anyone can enjoy while DC is just trying to follow marvel :p and just shows their most popular characters.
but DC will be shut down if somethign happens. if marvel ever gets the rights back to the x men and those guys and also puts them into the universe of marvel holy damn DC will die
