@romper69: well i like them but sadly i could never read them cause my parents didn't let me and here in belgium it was hard for me to find them.

@popmol: I gave up on the comics because there were too many events/crossovers there were far more live non-events. The films have generally been disappointing (except for the non-superhero ones) and I find a lot of their characters boring (especially Superman). I love my old DCs up to the 80s but for me they are way overshadowed by Marvel and Image

aah :) well thats true. but i'm also not fond of the recent comic books because they are trying to feed a narrative.
for the fimls i think i never watched a DC movie actually but from the little bits i have seen they don't seem like much fun i think they are trying to hard to follow marvel in their cinematic universe instead of making an actual good movie.
but i think they are only focusing on the big 3 and not on any other characters. i mean i would love to see characters like zatanna or swamp thing or john constantine and more obscure characters to the public who don't know much of comic books.
but the netflix series seems to been doing alright right?

yes thats true. yeah they want to set up an entire story that anyone can enjoy while DC is just trying to follow marvel :p and just shows their most popular characters.
but DC will be shut down if somethign happens. if marvel ever gets the rights back to the x men and those guys and also puts them into the universe of marvel holy damn DC will die
