A stimulant. It doesn't give you more energy, food does that. It just makes you feel less lazy. Did you not take chemistry in school?

If I have to agree that coffee is great just because everyone else likes to live their lives a certain way, then kill me now. People who can't speak freely and are afraid to be different, especially over the internet, are very boring. I'm sorry if you have some deep emotional attachment to hot, brown liquid and I've somehow insulted your livelihood, not because I'd like to be nice, but because that's sad.
