@DidIHurtYourFeelings: Calling people by the name of the person in the picture isn't the first instinct when you're checking the authenticity, though. It's also not a great way to warn people that they're exposed online; you can do that privately. So frankly, doing it that way would just fall into the creepy as hell category.
But yes, if we're talking of the same picture, wasn't it the one asking what was wrong about you/your looks accompanying a picture of very pretty lady. The natural instinct in such a case is to check that the picture isn't from any blog/adult site, because 95% it is and you're wasting your time responding.
You also need to figure there's about 5000 creepy stalkers on a site like this, who are just waiting for someone to unmask them enough that they can feel like they know something about you nobody else does, and try to take advantage of that. Which is why it's ridiculous the 2nd question (After age/sex/location) in private chat is always "Send a pic".

@Faust76: I see what your saying, but you saw my picture I don't look like I would be from a adult site. I don't know I just know I won't be posting any of my pictures on here now. I guess it just freaked me out because I have never had anyone do that to me.
