do you think that the trump administration will allow for legalized marijuana to continue or do you believe they'll try to shut it down?

Hopefully itll be legalized. Its as obsurd to say that it is worse than alcohol as it is to say it's completely harmless. Definitely has cons to it but not as many as booze. So why punish those who wish to use it?

It's a good question. Sessions has said "Good people don't smoke marijuana." Given the fact that he's a hypocritical TRUE social justice/Christian warrior from a backwards state, there's a good chance he could unleash the Feds to shut it down. I'm very sure he'd go after Recreational first. Particularly given the states where it's legal. The only chance it has is going to come from potential revenue to the Feds as well as the cost to "re-criminalize."

Ironic that a report just came out showing that cannabis actually does kill cancer cells.

He said that the people should get congress to legalize it if that's what they want. We have been but they still wont listen. Calling it a gateway drug athough almost every meth/heroin addict probably smoked a cigarette/drank booze before they even smoked pot. Yet you never hear either of those called gateway drugs, simply because they're legal.

@Sweetguy024: You're right. He did say that. And that implies that until Congress does the Feds still have authority. The ONLY positive thing I can say about Trump is that he's lived in big cities where things like weed, gay people and religion are seen differently than in "real" America. We'll see.

@Sweetguy024: I smoked it for more than 45 years and never was really afraid of getting caught. Of course, I pretty much kept it at home except for toking on one on the way home from work.
