If a woman hits a man can she truly love him?

No true human raises hand on another... Love is supposed to be about feeling good and make another feel good...not about breaking heart and disrespect.

Long time ago I had a girlfriend. She was always very kind in her marriage and never defended herself when her husband hit or abused her. But the day came when her husband wanted to hit and abuse the child. In this moment my girlfriend stood up. She took a pan and hit her husband with it, wounded him a lot with it.
Just felt to share this little story here. :-(
