Another note for myself, this time on a setting.
General concept - 20th Century fantasy
- Technology - WW1 to early 1960s era, heavy armour, melee weapons - e.g. rifles, plate armour, melee weapons, cavalry
- Magic - Some people are capable of performing magic, while most are not. However, all have a magical 'resonance' from their souls, which allows prayer to work as well.
- Races - Humans, known as the "old ones", their technological superiority allowed them to dominate the less advanced races for centuries, have kingdoms, empires, republics, dominions, etc; Vorek, the "orcs", strong, melee oriented, have tribal societies, regarded as little more than animals by the humans, their incursions were the reason for human technological advancements; Enta, the youngest race, little in the way of magical ability, excel in terms of technology, have almost surpassed humans in terms of technology (plasma fusion technology is used by the Enta, which is unstable when used at high tolerances but more effective than the reactor cores humans make use of), live in republics which are united under the Council of The Republics.
