Wales claims massive influence on Lions victory!
It was the Principality what won it!
The Welsh Rugby Union has once again muscled itself to the front of the queue for congratulations, following the Irish & British Lions crushing defeat of the plucky colonials.
Dai Black, WRU spokesperson, told the world's press, assembled in Cardiff, that Wales had made a significant impact on the victory.
"By playing such crap rugby over the past year, " he stated, "we ensured that no Welsh player would be selected for the Test squad."
He continued: "We are very proud of our boyos' vital contribution by making themselves unselectable. Without this, the Lions' task would have been insurmountable."
Barry Hari, mercurial captain of the Welsh squad that plodded their way through the recent triumphal tour of Japan, added: "We played our hearts out for the Lions. We knew we were crap so we ensured none of us was selected. We were really disappointed by the way that Jac Morgan inveigled his way onto the tour. You can be sure that no one in the Valleys will ever speak to him again."
The WRU is now arranging a tour of the Falkland Islands. No Test Matches are scheduled.
