South Africa v Wales second test

Wales have announced the team that will take on South Africa in Saturday's second Test today.

Wayne Pivac has largely kept faith with the 23 that pushed the world champions so close last weekend, with Alex Cuthbert the only addition to the starting XV. Josh Adams moves to the bench, while Tomas Francis is replaced by uncapped Sam Wainwright after the Ospreys tighthead returned home earlier this week.

Pivac's announcement comes two days after the Springboks showed their hand by making a shock 14 changes to their starting XV, with 19 in the 23 altogether. That includes six new caps.

Wales team to face South Africa: Liam Williams; Louis Rees-Zammit, George North, Nick Tompkins, Alex Cuthbert; Dan Biggar, Kieran Hardy; Gareth Thomas, Ryan Elias, Dillon Lewis, Will Rowlands, Adam Beard, Dan Lydiate, Tommy Reffell, Taulupe Faletau.

Replacements: Dewi Lake, Wyn Jones, Sam Wainwright, Alun Wyn Jones, Josh Navidi, Tomos Williams, Gareth Anscombe, Josh Adams
