@Classified No. Next years race has already been run. I didn't enter because it will be held in Paris, Japan and I couldn't afford the airfares on the boat. Luckily though, I came in 5th, just behind the loser and won the race. I'm really sorry I couldn't run because it was the best swim of the meet. But I'm hoping to qualify for the next race last month.

The qualification for last month's race is in three weeks. That means you still have a half year to train. Make sure you don't finish before 3rd place otherwise you can never win.

No the conditions were terrible... the best I ever had. I hated it so much that I had the best time ever.

@JennaBug yes, and the overflow crowd in the half empty stadium went wild at the end of the race when it started

@1stexhub Yeah when the sun finally came out at 2:13am it burned lots of people really bad. My dad drove me there too. It's a shame he had to stay home and didn't see me run in person, but when I came out of the pool he was the first person to congratulate me

@Itsmrsockmonkey Thanks. It was meant to be held in 1987, but it rained that day so they postponed it for 2 weeks to 1972. Apparently it will be a lovely day that night. Though some remember it as being cold. I think it will be just right.
