There's a reason that make and female teams of certain sports exist. Strength can be an unfair advantage

Not this again! *sigh*

Yes, they are transgendered women- so they are women. Just as a transman in a man. I know two of them and one has had an operation. They were sweet as women- as men- not much has changed. The heart and soul of one does not change. And it is those we fall in love with...and accept.

But they will still retain more strength than avg woman
@Mountainlady16: Yes. i understand that may be an issue. And I do not think a sincere athlete wants another to hold back. But I know a lot of women that can kick a man's ass. I thik a lot has to do with the inner fortitude each has- and the desire to excel. But I understand the muscle mass take on it.

@Elandra77: Yeah well depends on the person. I was the only girl in my weight training class in 9th grade. I could outlift some the smaller guys. I also though he could beat me in a long distance swim could probably outswim my husband in a sprint

@Elandra77: also the recent incident a transboy who won a wrestling tournament. Wrestling though segregated in tx isn't in all states
@Mountainlady16: I do not define strength by sex--or gender affiliation. That is too 1950's for me. (and i was HERE then!) The heart and soul I spoke of can be strong in all. As well as the determination and inner drive to excel.

And good for you !!! That goes to show my point.

@Elandra77: But there's differences in body that makes segregation in some sports necessary
@Mountainlady16: Perhaps. But if he is now a she -or she is now a he, they have to be treated as such. And society is still in the uncomfortable phase of accepting all of this. At least for him that wishes to be a she. Tom boys are accepted- tomgirls are not.

The real fight is over equity.
