Arkansas' freshman guard Darius Acuff Jr ended his historic season as a Razorback by winning SEC Player of the Year, SEC Freshman of the Year, 1st team All-SEC, and SEC All-Freshman team honors.
Acuff became only the third player in SEC history to win SEC Player of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year awards in the same season. He averaged 22.2 points and 6.4 assists per game
Acuff is the only player to lead the SEC conference in both scoring and assists in 56 years.
He also leads the SEC in minutes played and has the highest scoring game in the SEC this year with 49 points.
On his way to earning these honors, Acuff claimed a league record eight SEC weekly awards, including seven Freshman of the Week honors (five of those consecutively) and one SEC Player of the Week.
