@pdockal Based on what I read, this will be a good thing for the sport of ocean racing. More regular competitions, more classes of competition, more affordable competitions, etc, etc.

Do you follow ocean racing? I used to quite closely.

Somehow, it looks as if Aladdin had his fingers in the design of that cup.

No wonder with the Emiratis having their saying in the design of that cup. Next one will look something like that with a rooster, a haggis, a kiwi and a yodeling cow on it.

@Stephie There is no say in the design of a new cup for anyone because there is no new cup. The cup we compete for today is the same Auld Mug that was first won in competition in 1851 by the schooner America.
