Its looking like Chelsea will win the title but there are three other Champions League places and five other good teams to fill them. What do you think football fans, pick four from the six:

@InOtterWords: I wish it was Spurs instead of Chelsea, most boring team in Europe in the last decade.

@Cierzo: Who do you support Cierzo?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@InOtterWords: LOL. Its strange that nobody has picked Man Utd so far, even though they are playing a bit better.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123: I am biased towards Man City now since I am a FC Barcelona supporter and Guardiola is now there.

I don't know why I have always been interested in Premier League and liked Liverpool and hated ManU ( with Mourinho even more reasons).
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo: I do like Barca.

Pep is having a tougher time and City. He is a great coach but the Prem is such a competitive league. He will have to adapt to succeed here.
@Cierzo: my daughter claims to be an FCB fan but she just has a huge crush on Neymar jnr. She can name everyone in the Spurs 1st team but will struggle to name more than 4 FCB players.
All I will say is venebles and linekar xx
Cierzo · M
@InOtterWords: Both Venables and Lineker left really good memories in Barcelona.
Don't like Neymar much, he is overrated.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123: I am weird case here. Usually right-wingers support Real Madrid and leftists lean more towards Barcelona. Football has its own reasons that politics do not understand 🙂
@Cierzo: I think so too, but my girl adores him 😍

Venebles & Linekar are much loved at Spurs too.
@Cierzo: wasn't it that RM was the King's club and FCB the people's club?
Cierzo · M
@InOtterWords: Not exactly, FCB is a rich club. Franco's regime was closer to Real and that's where they gained a reputation of being closer to power.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo: I find the politics of Spanish football interesting. Alfrede Di Stefano was famously 'stolen' because of Madrid's establishment links. Barc were (and are) the team of Catalan nationalism. Under Franco, the Nou Camp was the only place where people could speak Catalan.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123: I wonder if something like that happens in Britain. Are there teams who are seen close to a certain political option?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo: Not really tbh. Regional and local rivalries but not political history.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123: Better that way.
Which is the strongest rivalry? Liverpool vs. ManU? Spurs vs. Chelsea?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo: Liverpool Man Utd is the strongest. Not on level of Madrid/Barca but it is big, especially in the north west. Two most successful teams historically. traditionally Utd fans hate Liverpool more than City and Liverpool want to beat Utd more than Everton. City's recent power complicates that though.

In London Spurs Arsenal is probably the biggest because they are both north London and Chelsea's ascendancy is recent history but all three are rivals. Spurs are playing Chelsea on Weds in a top of the table clash and it will be big.
Cierzo · M
@Burnley123: Madrid/Barca is certainly the biggest clash here, but the strongest local rivalry happens between Sevillian teams Seville and Betis.
