BBC News is reporting the death of Rob Burrows

The former Leeds Rhinos Scrum Half had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in 2019 and along with fellow player Kevin Sinfield CBE had travelled the UK raising awareness and much needed research donations along the way.

Absolutely gutted. Rob Burrow was an amazingly courageous man and he's a huge loss to the MND and sporting communities. I hope him and Doddie Weir are sharing a beer up there with Joost van der Westhuizen!
