One quick boxing question.

I stand there and hit the little bag for what seems like an eternity. I change things up by switching rhythm and seem to always finish with a big hit. I just didn't know how it was helping me. I know I enjoy it and that it isn't as much effort as the heavy bag. I guess I wondered if I was wasting my time. Thank you.

@spandexblue: you're definitely not. The big bag is good, when you can get it to swing steady, to work on kicks. It will train you to be able to use your feet as well.

I can actually get the same seem to come back to me almost every time with my hands. Now the moment I try to kick it I see two things happening. I will fall on my behind and then become a yourube star. LOL If you can use your feet with it I am in awe. I have seen guys at the gym standing on one leg getting in rhythm with the other foot. It is like magic. I have no idea how that works. LOL

@spandexblue: you will fall on your butt. [b]Butt,[/b] the first time you get the rhythm, it's a most excellent feeling.

I may try this. I do have some martial arts skills and can kick pretty well. Nothing to write home about but I don't mind looking like a fool for a while. LOL I think I may practice at home a while before I fall fall on my butt at the gym. I have to perfect the yourube moment thing. LOL Thanks again.
