Did you do school PE barefoot?

I did running outside on the grass tracks in summer barefoot. That was always nice

Yes, our school was surrounded by grassy fields and we were always barefoot outside, whenever we could.

@Glossy: sounds very similar to my school. We had grass pitches, tracks and long jump sand pits. All played it ran on in bare feet, our teacher encouraged us to.

Yes and I still remember how the sand in the long jump pit felt like between my toes.

Same here. Spent all my young summers in tatty shorts and no shoes, running around in the fields nearby.

@Glossy: cool. Nice to see these things don't change I spent my summer breaks barefoot wearing just shorts n tee. Only wore shoes when I had to. Even then I put them on at the very last minute in the car.

Ha ha, yes, shorts and tees were all I wore for most of the summer days. Wonderful times.

@Glossy: yes good memories and dirty soles. such a shame parents dont encourage the barefoot life these days. i loved my feet being free.

I still tend to prefer to watch TV in bare feet and a tee shirt when I'm snuggled up.

@Glossy:for me im always barefoot in the house. i only put shoes on for work or trips out.
