@Burnley123 It's been a similar pattern in quite a few games. I was just looking at the FIFA world rankings, which I always thought were rubbish. Most games have gone according to the rankings.

@SW-User I think they work as a rough guide. Also, the UEFA league means that more serious games get counted for the stats instead of crappy friendlies. Maybe that makes it more accurate?

@Burnley123 I still think England are ranked too high but I'll be happy if I'm proved wrong.

We are definitely top eight. I think France is the best (though Belgium is top officially). The next eight teams are hard to rank and I don't think there is much difference.

Germany would also be in my top eight and is ranked too low at twelve but they have played badly over the past few years so it's not unfair.

That is politicians' answer 🤣. They've been crap since they won the World Cup. They still have the players though. All-round I still think they have a slightly better squad than us.
