R.I.P Lou Brock

Hall of Fame outfielder for the Cardinals passes away at 81.

A coincidence regarding the deaths of two Hall of Famers this week, Tom Seaver and Brock.

The player Seaver pitched to the most in his career was Brock. The pitcher Brock batted against most in his career was Seaver.

My dad's favorite player :( He always seemed like a nice man, and my dad talks about how he was a great player. Cardinal Nation is mourning. 馃槩

Both of these players were so much fun to watch. They respected the game and played it the way it should be. RIP to both of them

As a New Yorker who went to school in St. Louis, I got to watch both players quite a bit (a couple of times playing against each other....both at Shea Stadium and at Busch Stadium).
Both Hall of Famers who were well liked by those they played against as well as those they played with.

RIP Lou Brock #20
RIP Tom Seaver #41

almost makes one wonder that this was by devine design. So many coincidences here it really makes you stop and wonder doesn't it!
