@TexChik what do you do?
TexChik · F
@AJRobo kickboxing, jiujitsu, daily work outs, weekly sparring, swimming
AJRobo · 26-30, F
@TexChik wow! You do lots! Well done you!!
TexChik · F
@AJRobo Thanks, its kind of a necessity. I have PTSD and I am able to vent the rage through strenuous exercise and martial arts so that I can function as a normal human being.
Powderflask · 31-35, M
@TexChik impressive, I am truly jealous as I failed in the martial Arts.

@Powderflask 22 years 2nd dan in KB , 3rd in Jiujitsu. I cant go any higher, my instructor told me belts don't mean everything...it becomes more of a test of knowledge rather than ability. So he is working to improve my technique and power.
AJRobo · 26-30, F
@TexChik that's probably the best way and if it works for you then keep it up!
TexChik · F
@AJRobo It has been. He usually doesn't train people at that level ( like a marine DI) but that is what I demanded and what I needed.

@TexChik knowledge I have access to, a functioning body was my hurdle. I truly admire your dedication tho. My father studied krav maga and was a college wrestler so I do understand the dedication it takes to commit; dietary needs, workouts, and the lifestyle.

@Powderflask I do the best I can. I was a college athlete and I'm taller, that helps a little...but those old 5'5" Senseis with hardly a speck of physique and crush you like a bug. Its more mind over matter.

@TexChik I respectfully disagree. But appreciate the support. Will power cannot replace diazepam and nerve medication
