Will Burnley be ok without Tom Heaton? Thought he was a good signing for Villa 馃槵

@Chrisy1 At 8 million he's the steal of the transfer window. He's a good prem standard keeper, a defensive organiser and a leader.

He fell out with Dyche because our otherwise astute manager persisted with Joe Hart for the first half of last season. There was no way to get Heaton to sign a new deal but still, we should have held out for more cash....

Nick Pope is also really good and was once linked with Liverpool so we should be OK. Pope hasn't played for a year due to injury though. So it is a worry.

Keeper is such a crucial position, Hart is a joke, never understood why Burnley got him!! @Burnley123

@Chrisy1 We innicially signed him as cover cos Heaton and Pope both got injured at the start of last season so it made sense. The crazy thing was keeping him in the team for months after Heaton recovered.

Hart didnt make howlers like he did at West ham but also didn't play that well. These days he's a championship standard keeper. He wants to leave and we would sell him but his wages outstrip his talent so we're keeping him on as a number two.

He鈥檚 a bit expensive to be a number two at Burnley - surprised you didn鈥檛 loan him out.@Burnley123

@Chrisy1 But who will pay his wages? We got some kid from Leeds too. I don't mid Hart as a number two.

I remember everyone moaning at guardiola for ditching him a few years back. Lol.

West Brom, Leeds, Huddersfield, Fulham - they鈥檙e possibilities but may not want him after his performances in recent seasons! You鈥檙e probably right, fine as a number 2 馃憤@Burnley123
