School PE inside - you've no footwear do you?

The rules were if you forgot your trainers you had to do it barefoot unless it was outdoor PE, when you'd have to sit it out. Although there was the strict PE teacher who caught onto the fact that the same girl "forgot" her trainers nearly every time we had outdoor PE and decided to call her bluff. Told her that if she was going to keep forgetting them then she'd just have to get used to doing the lesson in bare feet.
She actually made her go outside with no shoes and socks on. Poor girl was horrified. And then she said "I'm not going to make you take part. But you are going to sit out here in your PE kit and no trainers and watch everyone else do the lesson in the hope that next week it helps you remember your trainers."
It was a strict lesson but she never forgot them again 😂

@Psychologykate We had a similar boy in my middle school class. He joined partway through the year and seemed intent on doing all PE in his bare feet. I don't ever remember seeing his plimsolls. That was ok because most PE was indoors.
One day though we were getting changed for PE and he didn't hear the teacher say the lesson was outdoors, so he very confidently strode over to the opposite door to go in the hall in his bare feet, while the whole class was at the opposite door sniggering at him. He had to sit the lesson out and hated it. Needless to say he always had a pair of plimsolls with him after that, though most times he didn't need them😂

@Psychologykate It's interesting that she was made to change into her PE kit, but then just watch the lesson.
Considering how she was told to wear her PE kit, they could of maybe had her jog on a grassy area or something, so she at least had some physical activity.
We never had to be barefoot outside.
Once at upper school, I forgot at least some of my kit for outside PE, and remained in full uniform and just had to walk around the edge of the area, where the lesson was taking place.
I like stories like this one of yours, because we never experienced this ourselves.
