It would be a good fight. What I notice about Tyson is that he often used his lack of height advantage to land the hook and uppercut combination with his right hand, the uppercut coming in with such force, accuracy and speed that it could be devastating. I know less about Jack Johnson, but I know he wasn't too much taller than Tyson (and this may be to his advantage). You'd have to imagine Tyson would have too much for him (and for many modern boxers too).

@uniglow Tyson had difficulty with guys who were much taller than he. But otherwise Tyson in his prime would take almost anyone apart.

@HoraceGreenley He did. His reach wasn't the best and if someone was five or more inches taller, the force the uppercut landed with seemed to diminish with each extra inch. Although he floored Jose Ribalta with an uppercut and Ribalta had seven or eight inches on Tyson.

@uniglow the razor ruddock fight was Tyson鈥檚 best fight against a taller guy in my view

@Temporallube Both of them were incredible performances. That second fight, Tyson came out like a tornado. I don't think I've ever seen anything else like it. Formidable.
