Happy administration day!馃帀馃崁

This is a great day in Scotland and has nothing to do with love. On Valentine's day 2012 Rangers football club officually went into administration. They would eventually liquidate and die. This prompted celebrations across the country. Unfortunately a new club was formed and this pale imitation insist that they are somehow still the same club. Despite previously protests against liqidating the old club as they didn't want to lose their history and form a new club. Below is an example of the celebrations when it was only rumoured that this horrible club were going into administration.

For the benefit of Americans, "administration" in this context means "bankruptcy" -- too bad, I use to watch the Rangers on TV when Scottish league games were broadcast. I don't understand about the cheering when they went down.

@Humanist321 Well they died because of years of cheating Scottish football and the state through dodgy schemes so they deserved it. Also it was absolutely hilarious.

@thatscottishguy @Humanist321 Of course another possible answer is that Celtic is the Catholic team of Glasgow, Rangers the Protestant. Many Rangers supporters come over on the ferry from Belfast to Stranraer to watch Rangers at Ibrox.

Well it is too bad if seen as a Protestant-Catholic fight. We have enough societal battles now without another round of trouble.
