I don't anyone who is saying that. It was a classic defensive football game. Nailbiter to last few minutes. The halftime show sucked though. That clearly was worst ever.

This was a great example of a true Super Bowl chess match....but it was purely a game between the student and the master. McVay acknowledged it.

Belichick shut down Goff and one of the premiere offenses in the country. This was purely a tactical game of adjustment and strategy. Goff was pressured on 16 of his 38 dropbacks, per ESPN Stats & Info, and went 3-for-12 with and an interception and four sacks when feeling the heat. New England held Goff to 229 yards and a 57.9 passer rating, while holding the Rams to 3.4 yards per carry. The Rams ran [i]zero[/i] plays in the red zone and 45 percent of their plays went for zero or negative yards. LA joined the 1971 Miami Dolphins as the only other team to not score a touchdown in the Super Bowl.

The whiners are the type of fan who need lots of flash and spectacle----they hated this game because......
A. they're shallow
and
B. they only see the obvious.

Both defenses dominated, but a found it kind of intriguing. Kind of like a Premier League game that is 0-0, but one team breaks through in the last few minutes.

Nah, it was a defensive battle. It was old school hard nosed football where both teams had to scramble to put points on the board.

It was pretty lifeless. I love a good defensive game, but this was a young quarterback on a stage that was simply too big for him and playing pretty ineptly as a result. The result was a game that never really provided any drama as it seemed inevitable that eventually one side would break through.
