Should Women Have to Blend In? #SarahThomas #NFL

Good morning ☀️ woke up in a great mood and excited for the day 🐶 also I just read an article about Sarah Thomas who will be making history as being the first woman to officiate NFL playoff game 🏈 look at us females go!!! She stated that she tucks her ponytail in to blend in as the other officials. I don’t know how I feel about that. I’d never hide my curls to do such, letting others know there’s a woman out on the field doing her thing is great. At the end of the day I’m proud of her!! It’s all love

What do you all think? Should woman have to make themselves blend in with men? Should they stand out and let others know women can do it too?

I think they should be themselves, and if that means they want to tuck their hair or let it flow, its their choice. But she shouldn't be constrained by her long hair if she wants to wear it long. Some women keep their hair up because of common standards...like in the military while in their duty uniform. But I dont think that applies to women referees. Personally, if I had been her, I would had let my flag fly!
